Action Plan for the year 2011
- To create a ‘Technology Centre’ to focus on technology transfer, mainly in the spirit of the UNFCCC.
- To organize first regional meetings during mid-year at Udaipur, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka & Nepal in November, 2011 as desired in the WFEO Plan.
- To promote WFEO member countries in the region to undertake activities in the spirit of the WFEO Charter.
- To initiate dialogue with governments, international agencies, industries and other stake holders to promote the objectives of WFEO.
- Collation and dissemination of the success stories of infrastructure development Seminars held at different locations amongst the members.
- Facilitation of technology adoption such as Nanotechnology, Smart Materials, Sensor Networks, Convergence of Micro-Nano-Bio-Info, Virtual Reality, Bioengineering in the developing and under-developed countries.
- Information & Communication Technology ( ICT ) on website.
