The WFEO Committee on Engineering and the Environment has released two reports which assess infrastructure climate risks and vulnerabilities for a sewage treatment system in Costa Rica and four highway bridges in Honduras. These infrastructures were assessed using an assessment tool known as the PIEVC Protocol, which was developed by Engineers Canada. Executive Summaries of the reports can be accessed here. Some of them are also in Spanish. For further information on the PIEVC Protocol or the reports contact David Lapp, FEC, P.Eng., WFEO-CEE Secretary at Engineers Canada (david.lapp[at]engineerscanada.ca).
